Successful consignor’s guideline.

Our successful consignors bring in items that are ready to use, wear or enjoy!
We want your items to sell! Here are some suggestions that may help.

Pricing

How do I price it? If it is priced right, it will sell! Many factors go into determining a selling price and we will work together with you on this. If we are not sure of a fair price, we may look up comparable items on the internet. We will inform you of any price changes. We will never sell an item at a lower price than agreed to at the time of consignment. Your input is important in determining the price, anything you can share is helpful and saves time.

Apparel

What sells? Current styles, popular labels, upscale, unique and designer apparel.
Condition is everything! Quality and appearance are important to our customers, so we ask for apparel that is cleaned, pressed, in excellent repair and on hangers. Items should be free of pet hair, fragrance or smoke odors.

Spots, snags, tears, missing buttons, sticky zippers are a problem. No one wants to purchase an item that needs to be repaired. Would you want to purchase someone’s dirty laundry?
Sizing is sometimes difficult. If a tag reads size 12 but fits like a size 4, let us know and we will make a note on the tag.

Walk a mile in another’s shoes? Maybe if the shoes are in like new condition, no scuffs or worn heels.
Ladies accessories sell well if: Condition is good, current style, especially better/designer handbags, costume, fine & designer jewelry. No faux or counterfeit designer goods of any kind. Pricing or receipt documentation for fine jewelry & handbags is most helpful.

Vintage apparel and accessories

Just because it is old, doesn’t always make it desirable. Like contemporary clothing, the condition and style on vintage pieces are still important. Some period styles are more popular than others. There may be some condition allowances on vintage items that we will accept because of the nature of the item.

Bring it in, let us decide!
